Cantaloupe Prep: Cut, remove skin, seeds and cut slices or large chunks.
Fill a large pitcher with 6 cups of water and sugar, and mix until dissolved.
In a blender, add 4 cups of water and cantaloupe. Blend until liquified.
If you like melon pulp, skip the following step and add all blended parts to the water pitcher. Since ripe melon sweetness varies, taste a bit incase you need more sugar or wish to add additional cup of water.
Place strainer over the large pitcher and strain melon liquid into the water. Let strainer sit over pitcher if needed to ensure all juice drains. Press pulp gently with the back of a large spoon against strainer mesh then dispose of remanent pulp.
Serving Tips
Add ice to the pitcher if serving immediately. Chill in the refrigerator, or add ice to cups.
