Sweet Strawberry Lime Agua Fresca is a favorite served over ice. A lot of family likes it at room temp, but when I crave it, I'm going in for the chill zone by adding ice. Make my recipe with three ingredients plus water, and about 10 minutes. It's a lovely pitcher of vibrant (because not watered down), sweet, and refreshing strawbaby and lime Agua Fresca.
8ouncesstrawberries1/2 pound, about 8-9 whole strawberry
½cupsugarcane sugar
3cupslimesripe, halved and juiced
3.5cupswater
Instructions
How to make fresh strawberry lime water
Wash all strawberries well and remove green stems.
Combine strawberries, sugar, juice of limes limes, and 2 cups of water into a blender. Begin to blend until liquified (about 3-4 minutes).
Sample for sweetness and adjust to sweet/tangy liking. Transfer into a pitcher, add the remaining water and chill.
Serve in cups with ice with optional garnish.
After blending Note: Straining is optional but from my experience it's not necessary if blended until completely liquified. Once strained, very little pulp will remain.
Notes
Recipe yield - 32 ounces / 4 - 8 oz servings.
Storage - Store in container or pitcher large enough to store beverage. For best flavor drink within 3-4 days. Strawberry water will last up to 6-7 days.
Serving - crushed ice is like a strawberry lime all natural dream for this drink! You're welcome :)
