A fresh juice is good for you any time of the day, my top pick is Jugo Vampiro. The idea is to know your favorites and know how your body responds to them. I'm sharing my go to recipe made from beet root, carrot, orange, and ginger. It's ideal and just enough for you!

Course: Drinks
Cuisine: Mexican, Mexican-American
Diet: Gluten Free, Low Calorie, Low Fat

Prep all vegetables used. Wash well and thoroughly, especially the sweet stuff. Peel orange, and remove beet stems.
Place cup underneath the juicer spout and begin juicing. I like starting with the citrus because it's softer and lighter in color, then go by depth of each color. Don't forget about the small piece of ginger, the small and mighty always comes in at the end.
Let cup sit at base until all juice has been extracted. About a full minute.
Juice is Ready. Add an ice cube if you prefer it chilled.
All the colors of natural-freshness are lined up just for you to enjoy. Stir it with a spoon to mix all the flavor and drink a good for you juice.
Notes
Recipe yield: 12 ounces Vampiro Juice. May vary depending on vegetable weights.
Storage: drink fresh, within the first 30 minutes of juicing for most nutrients and best taste. Otherwise, my recommendation is to drink within first 24-hours.
Cleaning your juicer within 20 minutes of juicing helps avoid pulp and residue from sticking (which will then make it harder to clean and sticky).
Recipe time accounts for prep and juice time, not cleanup. Trust me, you'll get used to it, and love your new juice ritual.
NUTRIENT NOTE: Fresh juice carries the highest nutritional value right after juicing but I would encourage taking in vegetables and fruits at whatever opportunity and access available.
